FORMER ASSTT. STATION DIRECTOR OF AIR PORT BLAIR NO MORE

Port Blair, Oct. 15/ - Former Assistant Station Director of All India Radio, Port Blair, Mr. M. H. Khan died of a sudden heart attack at the G.B Pant hospital at 12 noon, Saturday. He was sixty-six. A resident of the Netaji Club area in the Aberdeen Bazaar, Mr. Muneer Ahmad Khan hung up his boots as Station Director, AIR Aadilabad (Andhra Pradesh), after being  associated with AIR Port Blair for a long time. Recognized as a media connoisseur during his outstanding career, Mr. Khan directed a number of radio plays, that were highly appreciated.




Mr. khan is survived by his wife, Nilofer Khan and two daughters. His funeral started from his residence at 11am on Sunday and culminated in the "Supurd-e-khaak" at the Phoenix Bay graveyard. RIP
